MARBLE AND GRANITE
The Consorzio Marmi Valpantena was founded in 1984 and its primary purpose was the solution of the disposal of slimes problems resulted from marble and granite workmanship. The consortium represents all the companies that for years have been working in Valpantena valley. Although nowadays market difficulties, marble remains the leader sector of our valley. Both Consorzio Marmisti Valpantena and AS. MA.VE. in Volargne are the more important companies of Verona in this sector and employ six hundred workers, without counting transports, mechanical and electrical workshops...
The Consorzio Marmisti deeply committs to find solutions to the sell off and the restoration of slimes and chipping. A very interesting particular is that all the shareholders have adopted the separate collection of a a lot of consumption materials, such as plastic, nylon, wood and abrasive mass. This way of doing makes us understand the devotion to environment safeguard of every member.

The National Institue of Foreign Commerce and Promos, under the control of the Department of
Economic Development, organized the Italian economic Mission in Jordan and Lebanon, in the
cities of Amman and Beirut, from the 26th to the 30th June 2010.
